"No Pressure, Just Stoke": The 21st Annual New England Longboard Classic Surf Contest

Since 1999, the New England Longboard Classic Surf Contest has been an annual tradition marking the kickoff to summer and a day of fun for the local community.

Hosted on Nantasket Beach, the event included 13 divisions total — ages ranging from 12 and under to 60+ — competing in the small but glassy conditions on hand.

While it was a contest, the vibe was family-friendly, low-key, and no ego — no pressure, just stoke.

In addition to the surfing, the contest raised and donated $2,400 to benefit Save The Children and the Cape Cod Ocean Community.
